Chronic pain (pain lasting longer than 3 months) is a very real issue.  Chronic pain actually changes the way the body processes pain signals.  Treatment focuses on understanding the nature and mechanism of pain, how to modulate the body's processing of pain signals, and re-introducing safe and healthy movement.  Common chronic pain conditions include:
